YOUR CHALLENGE, SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT IT
In the words of Ray Bradbury, “Just write every day of your life…”. Your mission is to write five haikus — one for each of the five days leading up to this Friday.
waking up like a
snail, slowly crawling, lazy
mind, a lazy day
feeling little good,
like a tortoise, moving
relatively faster
two days to Friday
something to cheer me up, like
a Sloth, walking fast
come Thursday, hopping
like a frog, jumping hyper
all around my world
holiday begins
from mid Firday, running home
Sweet home, like Emu

Yay. Dhriit. I love the animal imagery. I sitting in the parking lot at Turner Field waiting for start of my race. It’s COLD. 22 degrees. I might be like the sloth. I wish I had her coat. Have a great holiday.

I love what you did with this, Dhriti–fun progression from Monday through Friday (pretty aptly describes just about any week for me 🙂 ). Nicely done!
